Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and what we do with it. In short: we collect only what you send us through the enquiry form, and the calculators keep your figures on your own device.

Who this applies to
This policy covers www.skyshilp.in, operated by SkyShilp Construction India Private Limited (“SkyShilp”, “we”, “us”), whose registered office is at Chaboti Bypass, North Lakhimpur, 787031, Assam, India. It describes how we handle personal information collected through this website. It does not cover information you give us in person, on site or under a separate contract, which is governed by that contract.
What we collect
- Information you submit. When you use the enquiry form we receive the fields you complete — typically your name, organisation, email address, telephone number, the nature of your enquiry, the site location and your message.
- Estimates you choose to send. If you press “Send this estimate to SkyShilp” on the calculators page, the inputs and results of that calculation are placed into the enquiry form so they reach us with your message.
- Technical logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps — for security and diagnostics.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, financial account details, identity document numbers or any sensitive personal data through this website.
Calculator data stays on your device
The estimator suite runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into a calculator is transmitted to us unless you deliberately send it.
- Unit-rate overrides you make in the “Rate settings” panel are stored in your browser’s local storage under the key skyshilp.rates.v1. They stay on your device, are readable only by this website, and are removed when you press “Reset to defaults” or clear your browser data.
- When you send an estimate to the contact form, the summary is held briefly in your browser’s session storage while you move between the two pages, and is deleted as soon as it has been placed in the form.
- Shareable calculator links carry your figures in the URL. Anyone you send that link to can see those figures — treat it accordingly.
Cookies
This website sets no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies of its own. The browser storage described above is not a cookie and is not sent to any server.
Two third-party services are embedded and may set their own cookies or receive your IP address when the relevant page loads: Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces used across the site, and Google Maps, which provides the map on the contact page. Their use of that information is governed by Google’s own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry, prepare a quotation and arrange a site survey.
- To keep records required for our contracts, accounts and statutory obligations.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to send marketing you have not asked for.
Who else sees it
Enquiries reach the SkyShilp office in North Lakhimpur. Information may also be handled by our email and hosting providers as part of delivering those services, and may be disclosed where we are required to do so by law or by a competent authority. Where a project requires it, we may share relevant details with a client department or a professional adviser working on the same scheme.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for as long as we need them to respond and, where an enquiry leads to work, for as long as our contract and statutory records require. Enquiries that lead to nothing are deleted once they are no longer of any use. Server logs are retained for the period set by our hosting provider.
Your choices
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to the address below and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Grievances relating to personal data may be addressed to info@skyshilp.in, marked for the attention of the directors.
Children
This website is intended for businesses, public bodies and adults enquiring about construction services. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here rather than notified individually.
