What these numbers are, and what they are not.

Read this before you put a figure from this page into a budget document.

They are budgetary figures, typically good enough to decide whether a scheme is affordable and to prepare an indicative provision. They are not a quotation. Actual cost depends on site conditions, soil classification, access, the lead for materials, statutory approvals and the prevailing market at the time of tender. Expect a formal quotation, prepared after a site survey, to differ.

Every rate is an assumption seeded from FY 2025-26 market and schedule-of-rates levels for Assam and the North-East, and each is marked as such in the source file. They are not a published schedule of rates. Open the “Rate settings” panel to replace any of them with your own figures — the whole page recalculates immediately.

No. Overrides are saved in your own browser only, under the key skyshilp.rates.v1, and never leave your device. “Reset to defaults” clears them.

No, except in the Project Budget Planner where GST is an explicit line you control. Every other calculator shows cost before tax. Statutory approvals, land, design fees and price escalation are excluded throughout.

Yes. “Copy shareable link” gives you a URL that reopens the calculator with your exact figures. “Print / Save as PDF” prints just that calculator. “Copy summary” puts the whole working on your clipboard as plain text.

That the bank is cut back to the slope you enter, a geotextile filter is laid with 10% overlap, and sand-filled bags are placed to the thickness you specify on both the slope and the launching apron, with an overlap and wastage allowance on the bag count and 5% spillage on the sand. Boulder pitching, porcupine screens and dewatering are priced separately.

Because in Assam the monsoon decides the working year. Between roughly June and September a river-side site is often unreachable or unsafe, so those days are treated as lost calendar time rather than absorbed into an optimistic programme. Change the figure if your site says otherwise.
